• Being used and abused of (as he has been countless time)
• Crowley (demon, and most probably in part at least, responsible of his new loneliness)
• Demons & Monsters

And well, many other things.
STRENGTHS
Castiel had many strengths as an Angel, but as God, it seems that his powers knows no limit, or a very wide one, as he is able, of example, to instantaneously kill an Archangel with the snap of his fingers. Castiel is most probably amongst the most powerful beings, but is he as powerful as the real God, is unknown.
WEAKNESSES
Castiel has no more known weaknesses. He was, before his transformation, an Angel, and therefore, could be affected or killed by any means designed to hurt Angels. However, one thing sure is that he isn’t an Angel anymore and cannot be killed by an Angel killing sword for example.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Arrogant, caring, lonely, dedicated, vengeful, loyal, egocentric, and selfless at the same time, trusting, trustworthy.

HISTORY
As all Angel in creation, God created Castiel, or so he was told, as he never met his father. Only four Angels did, the Archangels, and a fifth, Joshua, claimed to be able to hear him. Therefore, only five Angels ever had a contact with God, and Castiel wasn’t one of them. But that never changed his absolute faith, a faith that wasn’t ever affected by the side he chose. As all Angels, Castiel was created for a purpose, in his case, being a warrior. And he witnessed events upon events without interfering, as it was Angel’s first duty not to be seen by human, unless commanded otherwise. Castiel was a very good soldier, amongst the best at listening unquestionable, orders from the Archangels, he believed to be doing God’s work. And many thousands of years and Lucifer’s downfall, Castiel was given a task, an important task; he was chosen to save a human for perdition.
He had saved the human from hell. That human was Dean Winchester, and he didn’t know at the time, the reason why he had saved him. He had been told that Dean had a decisive role to play in the Armageddon, and indeed he had, Castiel had just not been told what role that was. As the breaking of the seals started and kept happened with what seemed very to no resistance, he started to question Heaven’s true motivation in the war. The first step was the treachery of one of his oldest friends, Uriel, who tried to have him join him in helping in freeing Lucifer. Castiel refused and was nearly killed, just saved by another rogue Angel. What he didn’t know at the time and nor did Uriel, was that Uriel had been playing on his own, the same game as Heaven, only, with a different purpose, the one to join Lucifer afterwards.
It took time for Castiel to realize how he had been used by Heaven and betrayed in his trust. He had already helped Dean and his brother a few times, but hadn’t been openly on their side, until it was too late. Indeed, Castiel was able to teleport Dean to Lucifer’s cage entrance, but the Devil was set free nonetheless. Because of his stupid and unquestioning loyalty, the apocalypse had started and he would feel responsible for every being who died from it. But that didn’t mean that he would side with Heaven, who wanted the devil dead to bring Heaven on Earth. He chose to side with the Winchester and that made of him a rogue Angel, a fugitive. That new “persona non grata” state of his, had as a consequence, for him to die a first time, by the hands of Raphael, the youngest Archangel.
But Castiel was brought back by God’s will, which made him a little more, if possible, fanatic in his quest to find him. A quest that would eventually result in a failure. But he could claim to have helped the Winchester in successfully stopping all the horsemen, locating the Archangel Gabriel and find a way to successfully stop the Apocalypse, with Castiel both getting killed and brought back a second time. The apocalypse had been stopped, after many adventures, Dean had accepted to have a normal life, but Sam was in hell, trapped with the Devil and Michael the Archangel, who wouldn’t have anything better to do, but torturing him to ease their frustration. Castiel kept watching Dean, the only human who ever had any real importance for him. Did he consider him a brother? Perhaps, he had use the term sibling for other Angels, but cared a lot more about the hunter.
He had killed his kind for him and felt ready to do so again. It was then that Crowley, a demon who had been helping the Winchester to lock Lucifer back in his cage, appeared to him. Castiel had refused to bow to Raphael who wanted to start the apocalypse again, and was now, once again, a fugitive. Having never liked demons, and Crowley certainly not more than any others, he wasn’t keen on listening to the scum at first, but as he was feeling weak and helpless, Crowley’s offer not only seemed attractive, but the only option. Opening purgatory to use its souls to get power and kill Raphael, and thus, prevent the Apocalypse from ever starting again. It was the only way as the Archangel was considerable stronger than him, and had many more followers.
Without the intention of letting Crowley have any souls, he accepted to work with the demon. Castiel was ready to do almost anything to win that civil war against Raphael, but he remained himself still, and wouldn’t let the King of hell grow any stronger. And so, part of their plan, Castiel saved Sam from hell, something he hadn’t done at first, probably lacking the juice and the motivation, as Castiel liked seeing Dean in a normal life. But Castiel was given by Crowley, souls from Hell. Those souls allowed him to defeat Raphael a first time and openly start the civil war, thus getting followers to defy the Archangel. It also allowed him to save Sam from his cage, without setting either of the brothers free. Only, Sam was then soul-deprived, as his soul had been scarred by the tortures of the two Archangels. And Sam had been brought with a purpose. Find a way to open purgatory.
Another kin to the Winchester was also brought back with the same purpose, an old and experienced hunter, their grandfather, Samuel Campbell, father to their deceased mother. Castiel did not appear to either of the Samuels as he was, indeed occupied with both the civil war, and finding a way to open purgatory. But once he heard that they had drawn Dean back in, things changed. He started to appear when called, although not at first, and rarely, as he was truly occupied. But he saw a rather different routine start. He started believing that the Winchester took him for granted. For a tool then would use when in need. He was called in case of emergency, but those where the only time they seemed to think or care about him. A superhero, but not a friend, and least of all, a brother, the very thing he wanted to be.
Following many events, including Balthazar’s, an old friend of Castiel’s, appearance, Crowley’s true intention were discovered, as the fact that he had actually been giving order to both the Samuels and Dean, once that one had joined that group. They had clashed with him a first time when he had refused to give Bobby’s soul back, but never stand as a true enemy. What the Winchesters and Campbells didn’t know was that Castiel was already working with Crowley at that time. So, when he appeared to save the boys, again, he only pretended to kill Crowley, burning other remains than those of the king of hell. And he saved the day again, as he was expected to. While officially dead, Crowley kept working in hiding, and it was during that time, that Eve, the mother of all monsters made her appearance.
There were many other conflicts, including one around Heaven’s weapons, stolen by Balthazar, Castiel’s friend, but this was a crucial part in Castiel’s plans. Even came from purgatory, and was, therefore, most likely linked to it’s opening, or at least, knew how to open a door. So the Winchesters and the Singer started hunting her, until they eventually met, in Castiel’s presence. However, Castiel found himself powerless in her presence, and had to witness Dean, rather intelligently actually, kill his key to purgatory. His plan was to get her alive, fake her death if necessary, but her actual death was a big problem, as Crowley confirmed. Another problem followed that one, as, before her death, Even revealed that Crowley was still alive, something none of the hunters had thought possible as they trusted Castiel completely. This revelation was followed by inside fights, which stopped when Castiel made the mistake of using an expression that had been used to define him, in his absence.
Or at least, when they had believed him to be, it meant that he was spying on them, and that was when the boys stopped trusting him. That was when their friendship began to destroy itself. Castiel couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t trust him after all this time, after all he had done for them, dying, twice, for a starter. Although denying at first, he ended up admitting that he worked with Crowley, but all his insurances wouldn’t calm them, or bring back the trust he felt he more than deserved. He also made clear of his intention to them, something they wouldn’t understand either, being all naïve as they usually were, they were convinced there had to be another way to defeat Raphael. But there weren’t. He was a regular Angel, and Raphael was an all-powerful Archangel.
And so the Winchesters decided to stop Castiel, with the help of an unexpected ally, another old friend, probably his last, who betrayed him. That friend was Balthazar and his betrayal had been both completely unexpected and was all the more painful for Castiel, who saw all his friends leave him and grew more lonely than ever. But Castiel did not have enough information to open a door to Purgatory, and therefore, had to look for himself, against actually, with the hunters. But nonetheless, Castiel, as proof of his good will, his good nature, and of the fact that he hadn’t changed, helped Dean by saving Lisa’s life while she was dying at the hospital. A fact that didn’t change anything and comforted Castiel in his beliefs, that he had no one other than himself. When the time came for Castiel and Crowley to perform the ritual, Castiel threatened the King of hell of death, if he didn’t leave immediately.
Being a very cautious demon, Crowley left, although very angry. It was then that Castiel killed his only remaining friend, Balthazar, after making sure that he had indeed betrayed him. The act was painful as he killed more than a brother, but he was alone, he had now realized that. He had realized that the Winchesters had never cared for him, but just saw a very helpful angelic tool. That no other Angel, had ever cared for him either. He had been the only one to care, he had been wrong. And so, before he could start the ritual again, the King of hell came back, with another ally, Raphael. Being made the same offer as the one he had made to Crowley, Castiel left, with, however, one ingredient needed for the ritual, switching it with a fake one. And therefore, Castiel could perform the ritual elsewhere and on his own, and gained access to purgatory and all its souls, and gained far more power than he would have imagine.
He then came back the room in which, added to Crowley and Raphael, were now also Dean and Bobby. By that time, the demon and the Archangel had realized they had been scammed, and also that Castiel had had better luck. Crowley disappeared, but Castiel didn’t let Raphael go, killing the Archangel with a snap of his fingers. He now had the powers of a God, and had quit being an Angel, something confirmed when Sam tried to kill him with an Angel killing sword. He was the new God, and the very fact that those he had once considered as true brothers, perhaps more, had tried to kill him, had severed the links between them, for good.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
From another forum, not my best, but around my average (when I’m not all that inspired).
“I am glad to hear we are safe”.
Nicholas wasn’t sure wherever he was taking her seriously. She was kind of cute trying to show confidence using her gun and all. Well, he might have thought a way, but some people were of the unpredictable sort, and therefore, he would keep his feelings for himself, for the moment. He watched at the main, occupied by his painting, that was the source of all the racket. Nicholas couldn’t have cared less about what he was doing, but then again, it wasn’t his boat, otherwise that very guy he was leaving alone, would have finished into the sea, drinking salted water. But it wasn’t his boat, and he felt good in this morning and didn’t felt like fighting for anything, for the moment.
”Well, I guess we all have our way to cope with loss”.
The guy wasn’t the reason he had walked there and he soon faded out of his mind as he had his eyes on something else.
”We all had a previous life, wherever we liked it, or not”.
And Nicholas had loved his. He had made his dream come true, and had been living it, every single day up to today. The apocalypse had ruined everything, well, perhaps not everything after all. He was working on turning optimistic, a little more “carpe diem” than he already was, and he was a lot. Satisfying yourself with what you could get, it all depended on what he could get. Nicholas had played in higher leagues, but the times had been all different, he was famous, rich, now he was neither. And he was pretty much useless, to someone who seemed to care a lot about the role she played, he would need to hide this very fact.
Before answering her question, he turned towards his boat, a small yacht, feeling some satisfaction back at displaying his possessions he nodded.
”Indeed it is, very comfortable, although as heavy as it is, I am afraid it consumes a lot of fuel, but, so far so good”.
He watched what she referred as the nest. Apparently she knew how to shoot, interesting. Perhaps he could learn from her? The idea didn’t please him much as it would mean learning for a significantly younger woman. Nicholas didn’t believe to be sexist, but there were limits to what he could tolerate, yet, these were special circumstances indeed. Maybe survival would mean hurting a little pride, just a little.
”Sharpshooter, I see, very impressive!”
It was true, from there, she must have had quite a view, although she did risk a sunstroke, which could prove to be dangerous in such Spartan conditions. He smiled when she told him she hadn’t seen him before. It was true he had been rather discrete, the rarer he made himself seen, the lesser the chance he would be given chores. He preferred not to refuse them, so he wouldn’t alienate himself with anyone. The way to go was to be absent when something needed to be done. Not his fault, how could he have known?
”Well I have certainly never seen you before either, otherwise I would have certainly remembered it. A pretty face as yours isn’t an easy thing to forget”.
It was true she had a somewhat pretty face and Nicholas just loved charming, even if he had often been told he was too old school. He was a romantic in the soul and it meant sometimes that he could turn a tad ridiculous, but he could perfectly live with that fact. He smiled when she asked him if he was a pacifist.
”Well it will depends on what you mean by pacifist. Do I favor other ways of resolving a conflict than violence? Well I certainly do, but I am also the first to claim that violence has its needs and uses. You won’t seen me trying to bargain with a zombie for instance”.
He paused before adding.
”And you? Do you consider yourself as belligerent?”
