Dean was born in Lawrence Kansas as John & Mary Winchester's first born child. His childhood was a rather normal one and was very excited when at the age of four his mother told him he'd have a little brother and Dean was taken with Sam the moment he was born.
Things didn't say “normal” long after that and on one seemingly normal night Deans life changed forever. Running to his brothers room he was handed Sam by his father who told him to get outside.
His mother perished from the flames which engulfed the house and their father was a changed man. For the many years Dean travelled with his brother and father, learning how to hunt and kill creatures and Dean was often left to protect Sam while his father hunted.
Then one day Sam left. Dean took it hard but not as hard as his father but Dean accepted the fact and begun to hunt with his father until he went on a hunt and never came back.
Dean searched out Sam for help and at first Sam was reluctant until his girlfriend at the time was killed in an unnatural matter. Dean began hunting with his brother again and they made a deadly team but their relationship took a blow when Sam told Dean that once they found and killed Azazel.
Not long after they encountered their father again and learnt of a way to kill Azazel and they soon find the Colt, a gun which can kill any being in existence. But after confronting the Yellow eyes demon Dean and his father are badly wounded. While attempting to get them to a hospital a truck driven by a demon crashed into the Impala.
Nobody died in the crash but Dean ended up in a coma. After a interesting encounter with a reaper Dean is revived and is told by his father he may have to kill Sam before giving the colt being sent to hell by Azazel as payment for Deans life. Dean struggled with his fathers death and what his father had told him and after some long hunts Sam is stabbed by one of Azazels experiments and dies I deans arms.
Unable to cope Dean makes a deal with a crossroads demon trading his soul for Sam's. Dean tries to keep secret that he will die in a year but Sam quickly finds out.
Dean doesn't wish to die but doesn't reveal that and starts training Sam to continue without him. They form an alliance with a Demon named Ruby to stop Lilith from taking Sam and to get Deans soul back but after Ruby betrays them Dean is killed by hellhounds and sent to hell.
In hell Dean suffers torture unlike anyone can ever imagine and after what seemed like an eternity to him he gives in and starts torturing others which still plagues him to this day.
Then to his surprise he woke up in a coffin and quickly reunites with Bobby and Sam. Then he met Castiel and learns Castiel took him out of hell and learns that Lilith is trying to free lucifer. Sam became increasingly erratic and is tricked into killing Lilith. Dean who had been trapped by the angels convinced Castiel to help him get free but arrives to late and is stopped by Ruby who betrays them again while Sam kills Lilith. Dean and Sam then kill lilith then before Lucifer is awakened they were teleported away.
Dean is informed that he is Michael's vessel and he will be taken over by an angel but he refuses. Sam and Dean attempted to kill Lucifer with Castiel, Jo, Ellen and bobby. Jo and Ellen are both killed in the attempt and when Dean finally manages to shoot Lucifer with the colt he is mortified to find out that Lucifer is one of the five being in the universe that the colt cannot kill.
He gives up hope and attempted to give his body to Michael but was stopped by Castiel and Sam. Eventually Deans half brother is taken over by Michael and Sam lets Lucifer take him over because he believes he can beat him.
In the final confrontation Castiel and Bobby are killed after Castiel manages to stall Michael and Bobby attacks Lucifer. Dean is then beaten to the brink of death by the Lucifer possessed Sam and but Sam manages to take over and throw himself into hell, killing himself and Lucifer. Castiel then appears, unharmed and heals Bobby and Dean. Dean says his goodbyes to Castiel then goes to live with Lisa, a girl he fell for in his youth and her son Ben.
After months of living a peacful life Dean discovered that Sam was alive and the two soon start hunting again. Dean notices something is different however and it soon comes apparent that Sam lost his soul. After making a deal with death Dean manages to get Sams soul back all the while Castiel in heaven wages a civil war to try and stop Raphael. Sam and Dean then learn that a new creature called mother has come out of purgatory and attempted to track her which ends in Bobby losing one of his closest friends.
Dean manages to kill mother and thinks they have won until they realise that Castiel is working with Crowly who they thought was dead. They try to stop them and after a confrontation Castiel killed Raphael and proclaimed himself god.
Dean has taken this hard and thinks that its his duty to stop Cas as the Castiel he knew and liked would not have wanted to become what he is now.

Just a little post from another site, this is about my average, not to small but not big either.
Sunrise.
It was Alto's favourite time of the day. The morning was something special for him, the sounds of bird waking up, singing their choir of songs, people began to shuffle around the streets. Setting up their shops or cooking breakfast. Sending their young off to the academy.
Yes, the morning brought life. Another day that this world will exist, whether it would be a bad day or a good day, it didn't matter. The sunrise was impartial, it did not care about life and death, good or bad, it's only care was to light up the sky. But it also brought something else, for Alto at least. It brought relief and hope. Relief that he had survived the previous day to see another and hope that he would see many more.
It wasn't just a sunrise for Alto, far from it in fact. No, it was a beacon...no, it was THE beacon of hope. It proved that light can conquer the darkness and that gave him hope.
Alto let out an audible sigh as he dangled his legs over the edge of the building he lived in. It was somewhat of a morning ritual for him, unless he was physically unable to he'd be on his roof, every morning, watching the sunrise. Sometimes he wished it would never end but it always did, as it had done this morning. With another sigh he jumped to his feet and stretched, his white coast glistening in the sunlight, making him almost look like the figure head of a ship.
He decided that he would spend the today training, Gar had no chores for him to do today and he was still waiting on word from his new genin team so training was all he could do. Making sure his sword was fully secure at the small of his back he began to make his way over roofs and down walkways until he found himself at the training fields.
