Gabriel was having a very interesting evening to say the least. He wanted to do something, go somewhere, flirt with someone and possibly get some entertainment for the night. Of course, he was torn between his old habits and his newly founded sense of responsibility. He felt he should have been doing more in the effort against Castiel but he just shrugged it aside. There wasn't anything he could do really. He wasn't strong enough to take on the power crazed, self proclaimed God. Not alone at least and Gabriel had no allies at the moment. Except for maybe the Winchester gang but even they didn't know he was alive again.
So, being bored and extremely flirty, he swaggered his way into the nearby diner. He was hoping he'd find some cutie pie there to sweep off her feet and get his groove on with. But if he didn't, he'd have to settle for at the very least a trip to the Kitchen to cuddle with the cook like he did every Wednesday. He's what the waitresses like to call a "regular".
As soon as Gabriel walked through the doors a waitress handed him his usual chocolate milkshake with an oreo cookie on the side. He nodded his thanks before making his way to the cashier and winking at the lady behind the counter. "Hey there, hott stuff. " The woman giggled like a high school girl and he made his way past her, towards the booths.
There wasn't that many people there and Gabriel was slowly losing hope in finding someone to sit with. Or rather, a victim. Some poor sap that would have to put up with Gabe and his flirtatious remarks and extremely awkward conversations. Then out of the corner of his eye, when he was about to go sashaying into the back room, he saw a girl.
He sprayed his mouth, always liking to be minty fresh, grinned to himself and went over, milkshake glass in hand. The archangel smiled charmingly down at the stranger as he approached the table. "Hey there, sweetheart, mind if I sit here?" Gabriel sat down without waiting for an answer, winking at her, even more flirtatiously then when he winked at the cashier.
Michael's voice suddenly appeared in his head. Gabriel, what do you think your doing? Gabe smirked. Lucifer's voice also came into his mind. I hope you didn't catch anything. Then there was another voice, one he couldn't quite recognize. If you going to go be a man-whore do it at a club or bar, why take your dirty ways to a diner?
Oh. Gabriel thought to himself. Dad?

she felt powerless, useless as she imply sat there, holding tightly on her phone as she waited for a phone call, anything that would tell her where to start looking first, how to fight whatever was bringing the world more and more towards it’s end. even though she might have seemed like the poor, helpless young woman to all of them, the other hunters, she knew what she was capable of. or did she? lately, she had been noticing some changes in the way she acted. she was not herself anymore. when, before, she would have prefered dying instead of killing someone innocent, it did not seem to matter to her all that much anymore. reality had caught up with her. well, after two years of searching everywhere for a way to kill the person who had murdered her parents, it was about time. it was about time that she realized there wasn’t any way she was going to save the world without making some sacrifices along the way. she was finally growing up and, to be honest, it terrified her. she hated seeing how she seemed to have lost all hope that the world might eventually get better, that all these sacrifices did not necessarily have to be made, in the end. she realized that she had been living in her own little imaginary world for the past two years and now, it was all falling apart. the thing that frustrated her the most was that there was absolutely nothing that she possibly could have done to save it, to make it keep on living in her head. she needed to drop that safety blanket she had been keeping tightly wrapped around her shoulders since her parents had died and see the things as they truly were. otherwise, she would never be able to do what had to be done which was killing the bastard who had dared to take her parents away from her, who had dared to ruin her whole world. those thoughts seemed to send sudden bravery running through her veins, making her take a deep breath as she looked up from her phone and shuffled slightly in her booth, looking around the diner. she also needed to stop simply sitting around like she was doing right now. she needed to figure out what she could possibly do to help. but was there really anything that she could have possibly helped with? and if so, how was she supposed to help? she felt that, if she touched anything, it would only tumble down under her fingertips. lillian could not help but wish with all her heart that there had been someone to answer all those rhetorical questions she constantly asked herself. she wished she could have brought her parents back so they could have helped her. she wanted to go back in time, back when she was still a normal teenager who simply worried about studying, boys and the prom. it all seemed so far away from her now. as she thought those words, she felt as though they weren’t things she had ever known about. the words felt strange to her. they were not part of her world, her reality anymore. her reality had come to crappy motels, fast food and spending her time hunting for someone she knew absolutely nothing about, except from the fact that they had killed her parents. this task she had given herself seemed absolutely hopeless to her. yet, on and on, she kept refusing the help one might have given her, saying that this was hers to do, that she needed to settle it on her own. the truth was that she desperately needed the help anyone might have offered her. but she somehow could not let herself admit that to anyone. she was scared, terrified that they might have used this as an excuse to gain her trust and stab her in the back. after all, was not that just what humans usually did to each other? they always ended up breaking someone that they loved or had been loved by down. it was in their nature. none of them could be trusted. yet, she found herself constantly falling for whatever excuse someone would put up. she would buy just about anything someone would tell her. that was her main weakness, believing just about anything and everything she was told. it had led her into dangerous situations before and the last thing she wanted was for those to repeat themselves all over again. however, as much as she tried to put up a wall between her and people she met, the wall always seemed to tumble down after the forst few words that were exchanged between her and whoever the person she had just met might have been. she did not have the mental strenght to hold up those walls, those boundaries long enough so that people would be turned off, pushed away from her. she would drop them, only letting them in even more than she would have been in the first place if she hadn’t help up those boundaries. it kept constantly ruining things with others for her and that was the main reason why she always sad she was not a people’s person. just so she would not get hurt, she would stay away from any contact with any other human beings, just in case something went wrong along the way. she watched from the corner of her eye as she saw someone sit down in front of her in the booth, not exactly recognizing them right then. true, her bangs were currently over her eyes, currently not allowing her to see much anything. she did usually have a facility in recognizing people. she had a photographic memory when it came down to faces. so when she finally removed her hair from in front of her eyes and looked up from the spot she had been staring down at on the table in front of her, she recognized the man sitting in front of her. gabriel.. she stared at him for a second, wondering if he, on his side, would actually recognize her, before looking back down at the table, dropping her hands which had been resting on top of the table in her lap. what if i do mind you sitting here? will you actually go sit somewhere else? she asked as softly as possible. most of the time, things that came out of lillian’s mouth were taken the wrong way by the archangel. however, she did not actually intend most of it the way he took it, most likely. she generally just said things as they came to her, and, sometimes, it might have offended some people. but could she really help it? everyone offended someone else once in a while. it was only normal, wasn’t it? no one could possibly be pleasing every single person every hour of the day. there had to be some point in your life when you’d disappoint somebody or make someone mad at you, without actually intending it. and even though lillian absolutley hated it, she knew she still could not really help it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - credit , to me tagged , for sir gabriel, aka melissa. music , errythang on mah comp, yo. outfit , clickers, bby.words , one one nine seven. notes , yeahwell.
