I'VE BEEN RE-HYMENATED!
AND THAT, DUDE, WILL NOT ABIDE
Good! Now that that's settled, let's move on.
NAME Jack Smith. (For all intents and purposes.)
AGE I hate feeling old.
DOB Long time ago.
SPECIES Trickster.
SEXUAL ORIENTATION Are you trying to come on to me?
ALLEGIANCE Whatever feels right at the time.
OCCUPATION Traveler. Wanderer. Vagabond.
HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT?
ON SILK SHEETS, ROLLING NAKED IN MONEY
HAIR Golden Brown. Jealous?
EYES Two.
PERSONAL STYLE Anything that could be considered cool at the time. Suits and bow ties are usually the way to go, though. Dress for success and dress to impress, right?
PLAY BY Matt Smith.
WE SHOULD HAVE ANGRY SEX
DON'T OBJECTIFY ME. LET'S GO
LIKES That's a very long and complicated list. Let's not go through all that. Pancakes are good, though. And cookies. Chocolate. Cake. Muffins. Bags of pure sugar.
DISLIKES Equally as vast and mind boggling. But I'll throw you a bone. I have a general disliking toward Hunters, Angels (specifically a recently deceased Gabriel), Demons, and Monsters. Maybe some humans. My. It seems like I hate the majority of beings in this corner of the universe.
STRENGTHS
[/li][li] Charisma. And lots of it. I'm pretty, intelligent, and I can put out the razzle dazzle! I know how to impress.
[/li][li] I'm strong. Gabriel may have gotten the upper hand over me when he did what he did to me, but given a fair fight, I could have gone toe-to-toe with him. At least, I'm hoping. I have all the general tricks and abilities that you've seen Gabriel use. Excluding any of that angel mojo he had going on. Though I should probably get my hands on an Archangel blade.
WEAKNESSES
[/li][li] Empathy. I have a lot of hatred toward the world and the parasites that infect it, the worms that dig below it, the hawks that fly above it, and the clean-up crew that tries to fix it. But, that doesn't mean I'm an emotionless bastard. I care, a lot. I try to help when I can, when I know that it's needed. Though that can lead to an opening, a blow when I least expect it.
[/li][li] Most Deity weaknesses. The most outstanding one for a Trickster is a wooden stake dipped in the blood of one of their victims.
SPECIAL SKILLS You don't want to know~
10 WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOU Quirky. Lonely. Empathetic. Prideful. Energetic. Hateful. Passionate. Helpful. Intelligent. Charismatic.
WHO'S THE HOTTER PSYCHIC?
PATRICIA ARQUETTE, JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT, OR YOU?
HOMETOWN Mind your own business.
PARENTS Two folks. Maybe. Dead, though.
SIBLINGS All dead.
SIGNIFICANT OTHER Nope.
OFFSPRING Negative.
HISTORY 'Jack', as his alias goes, was always a loner. This was for various reasons, one of them being how his fellow Trickster brethren were treating humans and other earthly species. They were being cruel, too cruel. But what can you do, they're family. And you can't choose family.
Then they all died. A few fell by the hands of early hunters. But the rest were slain by Archangel Gabriel. Angels were supposed to be kind, caring, righteous, though this one was anything but. Or, maybe he was. But Tricksters were not nearly as bad as the other Gods. They were among the most power, however.
Gabriel came for Jack, currently known as 'Loki' at the time, and tricked him. Ironically enough. Gabriel threw Jack into another dimension, bound by angelic magic. The Archangel had taken all of Jack's power and was able to gain physical form along with it (notice any similarities in Jack and Gabriel?). Leaving Jack as nothing more than a spirit, a soul, kept locked away to keep Gabriel's witness protection program going. Gabriel took on Jack's name as Loki and went off to mingle with some lesser Pagan Gods. Not before killing off the rest of the Tricksters. Couldn't have anyone blowing his cover, after all.
Once Gabriel got what was coming to him, the original Loki found himself free and in a new world. After some recovery. A new world also called for a new name. The Apocolypse came and went, and then, rather subtly, a different Apocolypse took place. Something serious was going on. And what surprise, the angels were up to no good again.
With everything falling apart, Jack wasn't about to sit back and do nothing. He'd step up, for better or for worse. Do what needed to be done to make things right. Whatever seems 'right' in his eyes, anyway.

Kurokku stopped, keeping his distance from mother and daughter. If felt like they had been looking for Akiko's mum forever, and now they had found her. The cure along with her. The past hour had sprung doubt in Kurokku's mind, but thankfully he was wrong.
He gave his companion a nod. "Tell her. Don't let your mum think she's mad." Besides, dead men told no tales.
Listening to the conversation, Kurokku put his clenched fist up to his mouth. The poor woman. She and her husband had been forced to be apart of such a twisted plot. "An impossible choice. I am so sorry." Kurokku hushed, staring at the vial on the mother's arm. He would have made the same choice. It was unfortunate, what had to happen, but Akiko's parents saved the planet from dying. The entire planet. It came at a terrible cost, but the other choice would have been so much worse.
Kurokku gave Akiko's mum a weak smile in response. "She's been taking care of me." If Kurokku had to end his own clan, the guilt would have probably driven him mad. He didn't blame the woman for wanting to die. In fact, he didn't even want to think about it anymore.
The hero had left the room, leaving Akiko and Kurokku, for the first time, completely still. No running, no searching, just...silence. "We did it." Kurokku put a hand on Akiko's shoulder, for whatever comfort that may have brought her. "You got the cure." It felt bittersweet. So many revelations, and now the whole clan was slowly dying. And there wasn't anything that the duo could do. They got what they came for, and more. "We should return now, Green."
Kurokku sat on the floor, pulling out the scroll he had made previously. The same one he almost gave Akiko to send her back to the present. He unfurled it on the wood, double checking the seal to make sure it was perfect. "Oh, be ready to land when we transport. This building won't be totally put together in two hundred years, I'd imagine. Kurokku was aware that it would be safer if they just left the building, or just went down to the ground floor, but he wasn't about to let Akiko see her clan out there. He made that promise to himself before they came here, and he intended on keeping it.
"Okay," he grabbed Akiko's hand and gave a nervous exhale. "We'll either arrive relatively fine or my less-than-perfect state will cause us to absorb a bunch of artron energy--the, uh, energy associated with time travel. Normally, it's harmless, like background radiation. But in large amounts, who knows what could happen? Anyway, super, let's go!"
Slamming his free palm down on the center of the seal, bright orange light surrounded them. Not for a mere moment like their last travel, but for a couple seconds. When the light vanished, the pair found themselves a few meters above the next available floor. Which, was a little worse for wear. Most of the building side was gone, only chunks and pieces remained. The majority of the ex-Megami village could be seen from their current height.
"Oof!" Grunted Kurokku, landing awkwardly as he immediately took a quick tumble backwards, letting go of Akiko and landing on his bottom. "Okay, umm." He paused for a moment. "We're in the present. Nothing wrong, just a bit of a stall in traveling. And I..." he looked at his left hand. A gentle orange glow started, causing Kurokku to breath heavily as he shook his hand. "No, no, no! You're fine! Stop it, stop it!" He shouted, opening and closing his hand. "I like this body, I like being blond! What about my fashion sense? What if I become a complete slob?" The glow quickly began to dim, causing Kurokku to give a sigh of relief.
He looked up at his companion, patting his right heart. "Crisis averted. Hah." The regeneration process he had briefly mentioned to her earlier had started up, due to the sudden shock of losing so much chakra. In fact, Kurokku probably had nothing left. Luckily, it had stopped. If Akiko hadn't given Kurokku that medicine earlier, he probably would've had to gone through the process.
Slowly getting up, and stumbling a bit, Kurokku gave a smile. "Fantastic! Got the cure, got back safely, mission accomplished. I don't suppose you have any more of that medicine stuff, do you?" Unless Akiko wanted to carry Kurokku out of the desolate village, or perhaps to the pods, or really anywhere, he would need a little more aid.
He gave his companion a nod. "Tell her. Don't let your mum think she's mad." Besides, dead men told no tales.
