Ambriel is the perfect obedient soldier that any God would want by his side. This particular angel has always had someone to believe in. Someone to trust. Someone to follow. First it was God, then Raphael, and now Castiel.

When Raphael revealed that God was no longer present, Ambriel had to make a choice between Castiel and the Archangel. Raphael was closer to Godliness, so it was he that Ambriel then followed. When Castiel destroyed Raphael, he was the only one left to follow. He begged forgiveness and swore loyalty, and was spared from Castiel's wrath.

It is Ambriel's primary focus to protect humans, and communicate with them (show them the 'right' path, or whatever Ambriel is ordered to tell them). However, he will do whatever he is commanded to. This could lead to complications between protecting humans and having to harm one.

While he his loyal, that doesn't mean he is without questioning. Castiel used to be rebellious, but now he was forcing all of heaven to pledge allegiance to him. Strange as it was, this thought had to be pushed to the back of Ambriel's mind. But it still bothers him, itching away back there.

So far my little hunter has met a Demon and a Dean, she is also suffering from an extreme lack of self preservation, perhaps a little angelic intervention is what is needed or maybe he'd be someone she would just snipe with words at, either way I think it would be interesting to see how two soldiers who are so different might react to one another.

Sure, that sounds like a terrific idea!

Ambriel isn't the "make you feel better" type, though. Unless his angelic duties demanded it of course. He's an obedient soldier first, so that attitude might cause some intensity between Whiskey and Ambriel. And that attitude ain't changing. Not so easily, at least.

O.o I think I just heard her say "Bring it Chicken Wings"...she's a bit of a scrapper with a sharp tongue, sorry XD. Honestly I'd love to see her mix it up with an Angel, I'm sure she'd get her ass handed to her but she's not the type to back down from a fight, a war of words or of fists. I kinda seeing her perhaps getting in over her head on a demonic hunt, maybe something where the demons have something holy in their possession that they shouldn't, and Ambreil comes in just when the demons have Whiskey by the ropes and save her only to get chewed out with her "I was fine, why did you do that?" attitude.

Angels don't usually get involved with hunters (Cas being an exception), but if Ambriel is around and he is looking for something that the demons have in their possession (like you said, "something holy") he would certainly interfere!

Whiskey's attitude would certainly tick Ambriel off. He doesn't get enough thanks as it is!

Yea well Whiskey is weird, hunters don't normally get involved with Crossroads demons either but -facepalms- only my little mess....I don't see them as allies long term or really anything more than the one time run in (or maybe something with a site wide plot in the future) for the time, it just tickled me as the stoic angel and the messed up hunter having a go at each other. I should have the time to write up a starter tomorrow okay?

Hey, look! Another brother!

This is Hadriel and these two were certainly family back up in Heaven. They probably did lots of fun things together, like smiting sinners and stuff. But now, they've got a bit of tension between them. Ambriel seems to be quite pro-Castiel and Hadriel would prefer if the throne was only kept for their Father. SO, these two could totally come together and talk about this. Unless, Ambriel decides to tattle to God Cas about that. haha.
