- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Gabriel didn't know why he found himself walking up to the church that Sunday morning. He knew that his Father was long gone and nobody was there to listen nor care about his prayers or confessions. But what he did know was that Castiel thought he was "Mister Hot Shot New God" and he would very much enjoy smiting him if he ever laid eyes on him again. How dare he!?
The Trickster was so swept up in his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed that he had been standing in front of the doors for at least an hour, like a frozen statue. He blinked a few times, shaking off his built up anger at the "new God" and debated over going inside. Rolling his eyes at his stupidity, Gabriel decided not too. What was wrong with him? Why did he feel so...."homesick"...?
He sighed and went over to the bench in front of the Church bulletin board, taking a seat. There was no good dwelling on Heaven's affairs. But why had his Father brought him back? Why was he here? Was he supposed to fix this little Castiel dilemma? Was he meant to do something else? Gabe shook his head. This was the same old stuff, just a new day. His father always left his children wondering, always left them questioning.
It was starting to get pretty darn annoying. "Seriously, Daddio? If your gonna bring me back at least give me a sticky note with some directions." Gabriel muttered, rubbing his eyes.

IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE WAY THIS PLACE IS TAKE YOURSELF TO HIGHER PLACES TONIGHT I START THE FIRE, TONIGHT I BREAK AWAY SOMEHOW, some way, Maggie was in a church. How she got there, she didn’t know. She had just been driving after leaving her momma, brother and sister in Miami and she ended up here. She guessed it was a second nature to go somewhere safe. Wait, a church safe? No way in hell. A church wasn’t safe, nowhere was safe in the world. Unless you had a panic room, that might just be the safest place in the world. Demon nor monster nor angel could go past those walls. Maybe that’s where she should go; find a panic room and lock herself up inside.
SHE shook her head. She wasn’t a coward. She faced things head on when she was on a hunt. Cowards don’t hide when things get tough. Maggie sighed and placed her hands on her knees leaning forward in the pew. She rested her forehead on the pew in front of her. She desperately wanted daddy back in her life. She wished everything would have gone right and that he wasn’t gone.
DESPITE the whole incident being about five days ago, she was still sore, battered, and bruised from the Wendigo hunt. She had cuts, scrapes, and bruises all over her body. Driving for hours on end didn’t help with her injuries because now she was stiff. Maggie stood and stretched. The twenty four year old walked outside clad in jeans, a gray tee shirt, and tennis shoes. She turned leaving the church behind her not wanting to be there anymore.
WALKING out the doors, she had to stop because the sun was so bright. She was about to leave when she heard someone talking to himself. Maggie looked over to where the voice had some from and saw a guy sitting on a bench. She walked a little closer hoping to hear what the guy said.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Gabriel continued to mutter to himself, rather aimlessly. "I mean come on! I deserve an answer for once!" He stared up at the sky, as though some being of light were to just magically drop from it. He knew that wasn't even a possibility anyways. His father wasn't up there, he was somewhere down here, biding his sweet time. Gabe took a deep breath and was about to shout something when he then noticed a girl out of the corner of his eye, watching him curiously. He groaned inwardly. Just how much of this lovely ramble to himself had she heard?
I should be more careful. Too many humans around. Can't blow my cover every damn time I open my pie-hole. He rubbed his palms together before finally turning his head to look his onlooker dead on. Gabriel's eyes, or rather, vessel's eyes, locked on to hers and he stood up.
"Hey sugar." the Trickster greets, going over to her, crossing his arms across his chest. "Was there any reason why you were eavesdropping? Or is it just a hobby of yours?" Gabriel smirked sheepishly. Humans were always so nosy. Always wanting to know what others were doing, or what they were saying. That was one of the things that Gabe found most amusing about them. In a way, they were sort of like him. He always had been a lover of juicy details.
Funny thing, Gabriel wasn't mad with her, even though she had been listening in on some very very personal thoughts. Or at least, she had attempted. He wasn't sure if she had actually caught onto anything and was hoping she hadn't. The last thing he needed was to try and explain why the big bad archangel was down on Earth posing as some everyday Joe Blow off the streets.

IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE WAY THIS PLACE IS TAKE YOURSELF TO HIGHER PLACES TONIGHT I START THE FIRE, TONIGHT I BREAK AWAY MAGGIE was able to hear a little bit of what the guy was saying. Something about deserving an answer for once. It didn’t seem strange to Maggie that some guy was shouting about something but publically, just a little. Hey if he didn’t want to be heard, he didn’t have to be shouting like this. That was his own choice. Maggie was about to walk away when the guy spoke to her.
“HEY sugar."
That was a first, Maggie had never been called sugar before. She was Maggie or Mags to her family. The guy walked over to her and stood in front of her with his arms crossed. Maggie was short and petite and this guy was huge compared to her. The top of her head came up to his shoulders. To be able to see his face, she had to look up a little bit. "Was there any reason why you were eavesdropping? Or is it just a hobby of yours?"MAGGIE arched an eyebrow and took a step back from the guy to get a better look at him. He had been standing too close to her. She wasn’t claustrophobic but everyone needed their own space. She stuck her hands inside the pockets of her jeans feeling the switchblade that was resting now in her right hand. “A hobby? It wasn’t very difficult to eavesdrop considering that you were shouting where everyone could hear you.” Maggie said wondering why she was being questioned when he was the one who was talking to the heavens. “MAYBE if you don’t want people eavesdropping, don’t be talking so damn loud. Hell, you were walking loud enough for the heavens to hear you.” [/blockquote] My character speakingYour character speaking

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Gabriel laughed at that. It was true. Every word of it. Except for maybe the Heavens hearing him part. He doubted that anyone upstairs would listen to what he had to say. How many times had Gabe talked to himself before, talking to nothing but the clouds overhead? Countless times. Not a peep from anyone. No cherub, no seraphim's. It was a myth, really. Nobody actually cared about prayers. They were ignored, tossed aside. Gabriel knew this. In fact, he had been one of the bastards that did this to people when he was upstairs. He'd ignore the human's pleas and prayers.
Except for some rare cases. That, indeed, was what humans considered "miracles". When an angel finally comes down to Earth to "save the day" after hearing countless prayers about some poor sap that needed "saving". A man about to die from some unknown disease miraculously is cured. Most of the time it wasn't because the angel had sympathy, because sympathy is an emotion that most of them lack. The miracle happened to keep the angel's plans on a roll. If someone dies and they aren't supposed to it would mess up the flow of things.
Before the Winchesters and the impending apocalypse, angels couldn't afford little kinks in the road such as an random death that caused the melt down of angel business. Their system was too 'perfect' and 'calculated', all ruled and checked over. Everything in Heaven was so...neat. So organized. Gabriel never could stand it. He hated it. Liked the natural flow of things, not the forced.
"I suppose your right, sweet cheeks." Gabriel finally says, after staring off into the distance a bit, thinking to himself. He diverted his eyes from the scene behind the girl to look back at her. "Just, let's hope the Heavens don't hear me." Another grin played on his lips.
"Because everyone in Heaven is a bag of dicks." He quirks a brow and turns on his heel, about to go back to the bench he came from. "I'd suggest getting some Tylenol by the way." Gabriel says, almost out of the blue. "Wendigo's can be a pain in the ass."
Gabriel walked back over to his bench and plopped back down, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a butterfinger. He unwrapped and took a bite, taking one last glance at the girl before closing them completely and chowing down on his candy bar.

A’Albiel had thought she heard praying. It was from Gabriel, and she knew he was at a church. The thing was, some angels seemed to forget that others can hear them, and since she had been in Heaven, she heard him stronger. A’Albiel had seen Castiel, and was scared of him. She DID look to him in fear now, but at the same time she knew she had no other choice but to help him, if she didn’t…she would die. For now, that wasn’t what she wanted.
She looked at Gabriel as he was talking to another women. Someone she didn’t know . She poofed in besides Gabriel and this other lady. “Everyone in Heaven is a bag of…dicks Gabriel?” she asked him, “Really?” she folded her arms but had a smile on her face. She couldn’t help it, and Gabriel would know she was joking a bit.
“Wendigo’s?” she looked at the other women, “My name is A’Albiel, I am a Healer and I can help you if you wish of it,” she said to her.
She wasn’t even sure if this women knew of angels or not, or who she was, but still…A’Albiel was always anxious to help. “Gabriel, I am pleased to see you have returned,” she said to him, “I…do not understand what is happening with Castiel, and I….am…a bit afraid,” she said honestly. “He is not the same…” she said.
She looked around the church for a moment. It was interesting having a NEW So-called God. Would she worship Casitel like he wanted? She doubted it. She had her own Father and she loved him. She didn’t need Castiel trying to step in the way. Still…. She was Castiel’s friend and she didn’t want to betray him as Dean had. She knew Castiel needed friendship now with the way he was hurting. "Where is your stand in all this Gabriel?"

IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE WAY THIS PLACE IS TAKE YOURSELF TO HIGHER PLACES TONIGHT I START THE FIRE, TONIGHT I BREAK AWAY
CONFUSED, Maggie stared at the guy. How would he knew that everyone one heaven was a bag of dicks? Was there even a heaven? “And you know this how exactly?”
Maggie asked this mysterious guy. INSTEAD of answering the questions, he said, "I'd suggest getting some Tylenol by the way." The guy said. Maggie was confused. Where did the whole Tylenol thing come from? “Wendigo's can be a pain in the ass."MAGGIE’S mouth almost dropped open. How the hell did he know that she was attacked by a Wendigo? What else did he knew about her? “How did you know?” Before the guy could respond, something else shocking happened. Someone appeared out of nowhere. Maggie knew the whole supernatural realm but never once had she believed in angels. Daddy and momma didn’t really believe in the whole church thing since they knew what went bump in the night. Now Maggie was doubting her parents. A’ALBIEL? Maggie racked her brain in attempt to try and think of somewhere she had heard that name before. It sounded familiar along with Gabriel. Maggie couldn’t pin where she had heard A’Albiel. She turned back to the guy who was now Gabriel. “Y-you’re an archangel!” Maggie gasped completely dumbfounded at this new discovery that completely shattered her beliefs and what was her reality before. SHE hadn’t heard A’Albiel ask to heal her because she was still in shock over the whole I-can’t-believe-I’m-standing-in-front-of-a-archangel thing going on. Maggie cocked her head to the side. Castiel. She had heard that name too. However, this time it was from other hunters. Why would A’Albiel want to know what side Gabriel was standing on? What was going on. “WHAT the hell are you talking about?” Maggie asked looking between the two of them. She was a hunter but hunters still learned new things every day. Now she was hoping to get some answers from at least one of them. [/blockquote] My character speakingYour character speaking

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Gabriel was slightly surprised at the sudden appearance of A'Albiel. He hadn't seen her in what seemed like forever and he just stared at her blankly for a few moments. That was when he realized just why exactly she had came here. She was curious about the Castiel business. Of course, everyone loved to chatter about the new God now, it was the latest heavenly gossip and tragedy. "Where I stand on this, Allybear? Are you really asking me this? "
Gabriel sighed and shook his head, not quite sure how to answer her question. He didn't want to upset his sister with his reply and wanted to go about this "God" subject delicately. Although, by the way he had tried talking delicately about it with Castiel, that wasn't an option. He had lost his cool in the midst of conversation, evidently there was nothing easy about this whole mess of a situation.
"....I do not approve of Castiel, A'Albiel, and I will be doing everything in my power to boot him from Heaven's Throne Room."
Gabriel looked back over at Maggie, who seemed to become frantic or in a shock. "Your right, sweetheart, I'm a good ole archy" He smiles at her, standing up from his bench and looking back and forth from A'Albiel and Maggie. He wasn't sure why exactly Ally had picked such a time to come and yammer like this. She didn't even seem to care she was freaking out the poor girl in front of them.
"Nothing's going on, everything is just peachy. But...Maybe you should run along now." He says, attempting a calm and soothing voice, full of re-assurance. Who was he re-assuring? This young hunter or himself? He didn't know. He didn't care. Gabriel just was eager to leave this church as soon as possible. Yes, he loved his sister, but he hadn't expected her to just pop in when he had so much on his mind. So, he was really looking forward to fleeing this place and getting to be alone again.
Maybe we can re-schedule...Go out to brunch or something... Gabriel thought to himself. ...Brunch? Really? Who ever heard of an archangel eating BRUNCH? chimed in a voice.Oh shut up you. The angel pocketed the butterfinger wrapper and frowned. Well, there went his last remaining candy bar in his pockets. Mental note: Buy more butterfingers...

A’Albiel didn’t realize Maggie didn’t know Gabriel was an Archangel, of course she looked concerned. Some humans tended to freak out a bit when they found out that there were such things as Angels. Even so, A’Albiel was trying to choose her words carefully. She hadn’t seen Gabriel for quite some time, and she was worried he was different, things weren’t the same between them, and she could already tell they weren’t. As Maggie looked at them and asked what they were talking about A’Albiel waited for Gabriel to speak. Should she be the one to really say anything anymore? She didn’t want to make things more confusing for the young woman.
Allybear…Gabriel called her Allybear. She smiled at the nickname not hearing it for a long time, “I am just scared Gabriel,” she said softly, “I do not know what is going on anymore,” she said with a small voice. “My brother has changed, and I do not know what to do to help him,” She said.
A’Albiel nodded when Gabriel said he did not approve, “I am wary of it as well,” she said with a sigh, “I saw him, I told him I wanted to help him, and he asked me if I wanted power…” she said, “I told him no…” she sighed a bit. “I told him I did not need the kind of power that he was offering me…” she was flustered by it. “You will be stopping him? How?” she asked. “I wish to help you, but…. If he feels I have betrayed him, he WILL destroy me…” she looked terrified. “He was hurt Gabriel, I think we can help him back to who he was…without destroying him, I think….we can get him back to normal…there’s got to be a way,” she said. “We can have him be our brother again…I know it…” she sighed. She knew Gabriel might not agree with her, but she had to try, “I promised him I’d help him, and he will see exactly what I meant by that..” she said quietly. “I told him that I would not be willing to go against you or anyone else…” she said. “He’s in pain Gabriel….LOTS of pain, I could feel it when I was speaking to him…”
She sighed when Gabriel had asked her to leave, she also looked a bit hurt. He had NEVER asked that of her before. The hurt was there in her eyes and she was trying not to show it. She knew she was failing. “We used to be close once Gabriel,” she said softly. “Do you remember? Don’t you remember when you used to sing to me in the Garden? When you used to tell me of the humans you encountered? You’re the one who taught me how to sing, and now….your asking me to leave? You never would have…done that before,” she said, “I do not know where I will go…. Castiel is probably going to summon me soon, and….it frightens me a bit…I am trying SO hard not to show that in front of him,” she said softly. “I am scared Gabriel, I need my big brother,” she said to him.
She looked over at Maggie again with a sigh, “There’s a lot of things going on,” she said. “I can not explain all of them to you, I will let Gabriel do that if he must,” she said. “I do hope you understand,” she didn’t want to talk too much about Castiel in front of her. She knew Maggie wouldn’t understand it.
She turned back to Gabriel, “Gabriel…I do not wish to leave….” She said.

IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE WAY THIS PLACE IS TAKE YOURSELF TO HIGHER PLACES TONIGHT I START THE FIRE, TONIGHT I BREAK AWAY
Castiel? Throne Room? Kicking Castiel out of the throne room? Maggie shook her head confused. She wasn’t sure what they were talking about but she wanted to know. What the girl Gabriel called A’Albiel, said sounded complex. Something about this Castiel guy being called the new God. Wasn’t God always there? How could there be a new one?
"Nothing's going on, everything is just peachy. But...Maybe you should run along now."
That was the wrong thing to say to Maggie. She wasn’t having it. The guy standing in front of her was the archangel Gabriel and this chick was an angel too. She needed answers. She was going to get them one way or another. She had asked for them and when Gabriel told her she wasn’t getting them, she was mad. What they were talking about sounded like something that would affect all of mankind. She needed to know. “No, I’m not going to ‘run along’.” Maggie was mad. She wasn’t some little kid. Yes she was short, but she was a hunter dammit. “I want answers. What the hell is going on? This sounds like something that could affect mankind. If so, I want to know.” She listened to what A’Albiel was saying about this Castiel angel. It sounded like he had done something bad. Something that wasn’t normal among angels. It sounded like A’Albiel was scared. But scared of what? Why was Castiel in pain? There were so many unanswered questions right now. Maggie knotted her eyebrows together trying to make sense of everything. When A’Albeil spoke, it made Maggie madder. “There’s a lot of things going on. I cannot explain all of them to you, I will let Gabriel do that if he must. I do hope you understand.” Maggie shook her head and put her hands on her hips. One of her hands was placed near her knife where she had easy access to it. “No, Mr. Archangel here won’t answer my questions. He already made that clear. Ally, can I call you Ally? Please answer them. I want to know if this is going to be something that affects mankind. I want to know if I need to worry about this. Please, tell me whats going on.” Maggie paused for a moment hoping this last plea would work. “Please, if my brother was in pain, I’d want to know what was going on. This Castiel person sounds like someone who is in pain, please tell me what’s going on.” Maggie hoped she would get an answer, if not, she was going to summon Castiel himself to give her answers.
